Managing Your Subscription
Use the Stripe billing portal from Settings to change or cancel your plan, update your payment method, and download invoices.

- Everything about your subscription lives on the Billing page under Settings.
- Click Manage subscription to open the secure Stripe billing portal, where you can change or cancel your plan, update your card, and download invoices.
- Changes sync back to Aplyr automatically, usually within a few seconds.
Your plan, credits, and payment details are all managed from one place. Aplyr uses Stripe to handle payments, so the actual billing actions happen inside Stripe's secure portal, then flow right back to your account.
How to open the billing portal
- Go to Settings β Billing.
- Find the Plan card at the top. It shows your current tier, a status badge (such as Active or Payment issue), and your renewal date.
- Click Manage subscription. You can also use Open portal in the Payment & invoices section.
- Aplyr opens the Stripe billing portal in a new view. From there you can update your plan, payment method, or billing details.
- When you're done, close the portal or click the back link to return to Aplyr.

π Note The Manage subscription button only appears once you have a paid subscription. If you're on the Free plan, you'll see an Upgrade button instead β start a plan first, then return here to manage it.
Changing or canceling your plan
Inside the Stripe portal you can switch to a different tier or cancel altogether. Upgrading to a higher tier (for example, Pro or Ultra) takes effect right away and unlocks that plan's features and credit allowance. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period β you keep your features and remaining plan credits until then, and you won't be charged again.
Once a change goes through, head back to the Billing page. Your new tier, status, and renewal date update on their own.

Updating your payment method
To change the card on file, open the portal and update your payment method there. This is also where to go if you ever see a Payment issue badge on the Billing page β that badge means a charge didn't go through, so updating your card usually clears it and keeps your plan active.
β οΈ Warning If a payment keeps failing, your plan can lapse to Free, which lowers your daily Autopilot limit and can pause continuous applying. Update your card promptly to avoid interruptions.
Downloading invoices and receipts
Every charge β subscriptions and one-time credit packs β generates an invoice you can download as a PDF for your records or expense reports. Open the portal from Manage subscription or Open portal, then find your billing or invoice history to view and download each receipt.
Good to know
π Note Credit purchases are separate from your subscription. Your monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle, while extra credit packs you buy don't expire. For how the balance works, see How credits work.
π‘ Tip The Recent activity list on the Billing page shows your latest credit transactions β submissions, refunds for failed applications, and top-ups β so you can see exactly where your credits went without opening the portal.
