Review Queue vs. Fully Automated

Compare Autopilot's two modes — Review Queue (approve each job first) and Fully Automated (it submits for you) — plus when credits count and how to switch.

  • Review Queue lines up each matched job and waits for you to Accept or Reject before submission.
  • Fully Automated finds matches and submits them for you, hands-off, up to your daily limit.
  • You're charged a credit only when an application is actually submitted.
  • Switch modes anytime from Autopilot under Mode.

What each mode does

Review Queue puts you in control. Aplyr searches and prepares each application, then parks it in your queue. Nothing is submitted until you say so. Use this when you want to vet companies and roles, or you're still dialing in your filters.

Fully Automated is fully hands-off. Aplyr submits every matching application for you automatically, with no approval step. Use it once you trust your matches and want maximum volume with minimal effort.

How to choose or switch your mode

  1. Go to Autopilot.
  2. Find the Mode section.
  3. Select Review Queue or Fully Automated.
  4. Your choice saves automatically and applies to the next jobs Autopilot finds.
💡 Tip A common pattern is to start in Review Queue for a few days, then flip to Fully Automated once you're happy with the matches.

Quick comparison

  • Review Queue: See each job before it goes out. Safe for fine-tuning filters. More hands-on.
  • Fully Automated: Maximum volume, minimum effort. Requires trust in your setup.
⚠️ Warning In Fully Automated mode, applications go out without a confirmation step. Make sure your profile, default resume, and Autopilot filters are set up the way you want before enabling it.

Credits, limits, and pausing

Credits are deducted only when an application is submitted — rejecting a queued job costs nothing. For details on credit cost, daily limits, and auto-pausing, see Daily limits, credits, and pausing.
