Managing Your Autopilot Queue

Understand the Autopilot Submission Queue tabs, accept, reject, retry, or remove jobs, and use bulk actions to clear your queue fast.

  • The Submission Queue on Autopilot shows every job Autopilot is working on, split into In Progress, Needs Review, Rejected, and Failed tabs.
  • You can accept, reject, retry, or remove any job — one at a time or in bulk.
  • Jobs in Review Queue mode wait for your approval before they submit; Fully Automated mode submits on its own.

The queue is your control center for everything Autopilot is doing right now. This article walks through what each tab means and how to take action on jobs.

How to review and act on queued jobs

  1. Go to Autopilot and scroll to the Submission Queue.
  2. Use the tab bar to filter: All, In Progress, Needs Review, Rejected, or Failed. The number next to each tab is how many jobs are in it.
  3. Click any row to open its detail view, where you can see the job, its match score, and why it needs your attention.
  4. Take action with the buttons on each row — Accept, Reject, Review, Retry, or Remove — depending on the job's status.

What each tab means

  • In Progress — jobs Autopilot is actively handling. You'll see statuses like Queued, Processing, Submitting, or Verifying while it works through them. No action needed; these move along on their own.
  • Needs Review — jobs waiting on you. In Review Queue mode, every job lands here as Awaiting You so you can approve it before it submits. A job may also need review if it has extra application questions Autopilot couldn't answer confidently.
  • Rejected — jobs you (or Autopilot) chose not to submit. Nothing is sent and no credits are charged.
  • Failed — submissions that didn't go through, usually because the posting closed or the application page errored. Failed submissions are refunded, so you don't lose credits for them.
💡 Tip If a job sits in In Progress for several minutes without moving, it may show a Timed out status. You can safely Remove it and let Autopilot pick up fresh jobs.

Accepting, rejecting, retrying, and removing

Each row shows only the actions that make sense for its status:

  • Accept — on jobs Awaiting You, this approves the application and sends it to be submitted (this is when a credit is used).
  • Reject — skips a job awaiting your approval. Nothing is submitted and no credits are charged; it moves to the Rejected tab.
  • Review — opens a job that has unanswered questions so you can fill them in and let it continue.
  • Retry — on Failed jobs, sends the application through again. Retry is hidden once a posting has closed or after a few attempts, so you never burn credits on a job that can't succeed.
  • Remove — clears a job out of your queue. Jobs that are mid-submission are protected so you can't accidentally cancel a live application.

Bulk actions

When you have a lot of jobs to handle, you don't have to click them one by one. On the In Progress, Needs Review, Rejected, and Failed tabs, a checkbox appears on each row.

  1. Check the rows you want, or use Select all at the top of the list.
  2. Pick the action that appears once at least one row is selected:
    • On Needs Review: Accept or Reject the whole selection.
    • On Failed: Retry or Trash them.
    • On In Progress and Rejected: Remove them.
  3. Aplyr asks you to confirm before any destructive batch action, so a stray select-all can't wipe your queue.
📌 Note Switching tabs clears your current selection so a batch action never spills over into a different context.
⚠️ Warning Accepting a job uses about one credit when it submits. Autopilot auto-pauses when you run out of credits and stops at your daily application limit, which resets at UTC midnight. See Daily limits, credits, and pausing for details.
