πŸ“Œ Note This is your first stop. Finishing onboarding is what unlocks Quick Apply and Autopilot, so it's worth doing in one sitting.
  • Sign up, then complete a short guided setup at aplyr.ai/onboarding.
  • You'll add your resume, contact & location, work authorization, and job preferences β€” Aplyr can autofill most of it from your resume.
  • Everything you enter is reused on every application, so you're not retyping it for each job.
  • When you reach the final screen, you'll pick a plan and land in your dashboard, ready to apply.

How to finish onboarding

After you create your account, Aplyr drops you straight into the setup flow. A progress bar at the top shows where you are.

  1. On the Welcome screen, review what you'll set up and click Get Started. (If asked, confirm you're at least 16 years old.)
  2. Upload your resume. Keep Use AI to autofill the rest of onboarding from my resume checked β€” Aplyr reads it and pre-fills the steps that follow while you keep going.
  3. Fill in Contact & Location: phone, street address, city, state, ZIP, and country. A full mailing address matters (see the note below).
  4. Choose your Work Authorization β€” citizen, permanent resident, authorized to work, or need sponsorship. Most employers ask for this.
  5. Add your Professional Links (LinkedIn, portfolio, GitHub) β€” all optional, but they strengthen applications.
  6. Review your Education and Work Experience. If autofill seeded these, just check each entry and fix anything with the pencil icon.
  7. Set your Job Preferences: experience level, role types, job categories, remote vs on-site, and salary. This is how Aplyr matches you to jobs.
  8. On You're all set!, click Continue to choose a plan and head to your dashboard.
πŸ’‘ Tip The AI autofill is a real time-saver, but always glance over what it filled in β€” resumes come in every format, and a quick review keeps your applications accurate.
⚠️ Warning Many employers β€” especially Workday, banking, and pharma roles β€” require a full mailing address. You can skip it during onboarding, but Autopilot will then pass over jobs that need one. Adding your address up front means fewer skipped applications.

What unlocks at the end

Completing onboarding marks your profile as ready and turns on the things you came for: Quick Apply for one-off submissions and Autopilot for hands-off, continuous applying. New users also receive trial credits to start applying right away.

From the final screen you'll choose a plan on the plan selection page β€” pick Free to dive in, or a paid tier for more credits and features. Either way, you'll arrive at your dashboard.

πŸ“Œ Note Nothing here is permanent. You can update your resume, contact details, and preferences anytime from profile settings, and re-running onboarding never wipes what you've already saved.
