How Smart Inbox sorts your job mail into category tabs and adds one-line AI summaries, priority flags, and suggested smart replies.

  • For emails that need a response, it offers Suggested replies you can send in a couple of clicks.
  • It's available on Pro and Ultra, and you turn it on with the Smart Inbox (AI) toggle.

Turning Smart Inbox on

Smart Inbox runs inside your Inbox. To enable it:

  1. Open the Inbox and click your profile avatar in the left sidebar to open Profile & Settings.
  2. Under Preferences, switch on Smart Inbox (AI).
  3. New mail is analyzed as it arrives. Open any message to see its AI summary, priority, and reply suggestions.

Category tabs

Smart Inbox reads every email and drops it into the tab that matches where it is in your job search, so you can scan one type of message at a time instead of one long list. The tabs are:

  • All — everything, in one place.
  • Applications — confirmations, assessments, and follow-ups.
  • Interviews — scheduling and interview requests.
  • Offers — offer letters and next steps.
  • Rejections — so you can clear them quickly.
  • Recruiters — cold and warm recruiter outreach.

AI summaries and priority

Open any email and the Smart Inbox panel sits at the top of the message. It shows a one-line, plain-English summary written in second person — what happened and what (if anything) you need to do next — so you can triage without reading the full email.

When a message is time-sensitive—such as an interview request or an offer—Smart Inbox adds a High priority flag so it stands out in the list. If the email mentions a specific date—an interview slot or an assessment deadline—it surfaces that as an action item with a Remind me button so nothing is missed.

Suggested replies

For emails requiring a response, Smart Inbox drafts a few short reply options and shows them as Suggested replies in the panel. Click one and it drops the draft straight into the reply box — fully editable before you send. You stay in control: nothing is sent automatically.

  1. Open an email that needs a reply (for example, an interview scheduling request).
  2. In the Smart Inbox panel, pick one of the Suggested replies.
  3. Edit the draft to add specifics — your availability, a question, a thank-you.
  4. Send it like any other reply.

Composing and replying

Smart Inbox doesn't change how email works — it just makes it faster. You can still:

  • Compose a new message from the Inbox.
  • Reply or Forward any email, with or without a suggested draft.
  • Add an email signature from Profile & Settings so it's appended to your messages.
💡 Tip Summaries and suggested replies are AI-generated. Always skim the original email before acting on an offer, deadline, or anything important — and edit any draft to sound like you.
