- Click any row in your Tracker to open the detail view, with an Overview tab and an Email tab.
- Fix a wrong company or job title inline, change the status, add notes, and read the full activity timeline.
- The AI confidence badge shows how sure Aplyr is about an auto-tracked row β and lets you give it a thumbs up or down.
- Select multiple rows to change status or delete them in one move.
Opening an application
Head to your Tracker and click any application row. A detail panel opens with everything Aplyr knows about that application, organized into two tabs.
- Click a row to open the detail view.
- Stay on the Overview tab for the summary β source, dates, notes, and the activity timeline.
- Switch to the Email tab to read the actual confirmation, interview, or rejection email that Aplyr matched to this application.

Editing the company or job title
Sometimes an email gets tracked with a missing or incomplete company name or a Unknown Position title. You can correct either one without leaving the modal.
- Hover over the company name or job title in the header.
- Click the pencil icon that appears.
- Type the correct value and press Enter (or click the check) to save β press Escape to cancel.
π‘ Tip A title shown in amber as Unknown Position is Aplyr telling you it couldn't confidently parse the role. A quick edit keeps your pipeline stats and filtering accurate.
Changing the status
The colored status pill in the header is a dropdown. Click it to move the application to Applied, Assessment, Interview, Offer, Rejected, Follow Up, Recruiter Reachout, Job Board, or Other. Your change is saved instantly and recorded in the activity timeline. For what each status means, see Application statuses and history.
The AI confidence badge
For applications Aplyr tracked automatically from your email, you'll see a small AI confidence pill (with a sparkle icon and a percentage) next to the status. It tells you how sure Aplyr is that it classified this email correctly.
- Click the badge to open a popover with the AI's reasoning.
- If the classification looks right, click thumbs up.
- If it's wrong, click thumbs down β that flags it for our team to review and helps Aplyr improve over time.
π Note The confidence badge only appears on email-tracked rows. Applications you submitted with Quick Apply or Autopilot, and ones you added manually, don't need it.
Notes and the activity timeline
Lower on the Overview tab you'll find two more sections:
- Notes β free text for anything you want to remember: recruiter names, salary discussed, interview prep, follow-up dates. Click the pencil to edit, then save.
- Activity Timeline β a chronological log of every status change, newest first, showing whether each change came from an email, an Aplyr submission, or your own edit. Click a timeline event tied to an email to jump straight to that message on the Email tab.
From the footer you can also Open in Gmail (when the application is linked to a Gmail thread) or Delete the application entirely.
Acting on many applications at once
When you need to clean up or re-status a batch of rows, use bulk actions instead of opening each one.
- In the Tracker, tick the checkbox on the left of each row you want, or use Select page to select every visible row at once.
- A bulk action bar appears at the top showing the count, like 3 selected.
- Choose an action: Mark applied, Mark rejected, or open the Status dropdown for any other status.
- Or click Delete to remove the selected applications.
- Click the X at the end of the bar to clear your selection.

β οΈ Warning Deleting applications β one at a time or in bulk β can't be undone. If an application came from a confirmation email, deleting it only removes it from your Tracker; the original email stays in your inbox.
Good to know
- Bulk selection applies to tracked applications, not to items still sitting in your Autopilot review queue.
- Narrow the list with filters first (by status, source, or search) so Select page selects exactly the rows you mean. See Filtering and customizing your tracker.
