  • Today’s Matches is a fresh, ranked shortlist of jobs picked for you, right on your Dashboard.
  • Every role gets a match score from 0 to 100 — your resume matters most, then your job preferences, then the rest of your profile.
  • You can Refresh for a new batch a limited number of times each day; the limit resets the next day.
  • The fastest way to better matches is a complete profile and a strong default resume.

What Today’s Matches are

Each day, Aplyr scans live job postings and surfaces the ones that fit you best as Today’s Matches. You’ll find them on your Dashboard, sorted with the strongest fits at the top. It’s a curated starting point — if you want to browse the full catalog and apply filters yourself, head to Search instead.

How to use Today’s Matches

  1. Open your Dashboard and find the Today’s Matches panel.
  2. Scan the list — the highest-scoring roles appear first, each with a % match badge.
  3. Click any job card to open it and preview the role, the company, and why it matched.
  4. From the preview, use Quick Apply to submit that single application, or save it to come back to later.
  5. When you want a fresh set, click Refresh (the circular arrow next to Today’s Matches) to pull a new batch.
💡 Tip Want hands-off applying instead of clicking each one? Turn on Autopilot and Aplyr will keep finding matching jobs and applying for you.

How the 0–100 match score is calculated

Your match score reflects how closely a role lines up with what Aplyr knows about you. Three things feed into it, in order of weight:

  • Your resume — the biggest driver. Aplyr reads your skills, titles, and experience straight from your default resume to judge fit.
  • Your job preferences — the roles, locations, salary, and remote options you set. These shape which jobs you see and how they rank.
  • The rest of your profile — your work history and experience level, so matches land at the right seniority.

A higher number means a stronger fit. Scores are a guide, not a gate — you can apply to any role you like, regardless of its score.

The daily Refresh limit

To keep matches meaningful, Refresh is available a limited number of times per day. Each refresh swaps in a new batch of jobs. When you’ve used up your refreshes for the day, you’ll see Daily limit reached, and the count resets the following day. If you’ve already cycled through the available roles, Aplyr will tell you honestly with You’ve seen all of today’s matches rather than recycling the same list.

📌 Note Running low on refreshes doesn’t limit how much you can apply. You can always open Search to browse and apply to the full set of live jobs at any time.

How to get sharper matches

If your matches feel off, it’s almost always because Aplyr is missing information. Tighten these up, in order of impact:

  1. Upload a strong default resume. It’s the single biggest driver of match quality. See Managing your resumes.
  2. Set your job preferences. Add the roles, locations, salary, and remote options you actually want. See Autopilot filters and preferences.
  3. Complete your profile. Fill in your work history and experience level so roles match at the right seniority. See Completing your profile.
💡 Tip On the Dashboard, the small info icon next to Today’s Matches opens a Get sharper matches panel that links straight to each of these settings.
