Reading Job Details
How to read the job detail panel, what "Confirmed live in the last 24 hours" means, and how to tell when a job has stopped accepting applications.

- Click any job in Search to open the detail panel, with an Overview tab for the role and a Company tab for the employer.
- A green Confirmed live in the last 24 hours line means Aplyr re-checked the posting recently and it's still open.
- When a job goes inactive, you'll see an Inactive badge and the apply button changes to Unavailable β that posting is no longer accepting applications.
How to open and read the job detail panel
The detail panel is where you decide whether a job is worth applying to. To open it:
- Go to Search (or Today's Matches).
- Click any job in the list. The detail panel opens on the right (or full-screen on mobile).
- Use the Overview and Company tabs at the top to switch between the role itself and details about the employer.

The Overview tab
Overview covers everything about the specific role:
- The job title, work type, and salary (when it's available).
- Location, work mode (remote, hybrid, or on-site), and the date it was posted.
- Your match score β how well your profile fits the role. Learn more in Today's Matches and match scores.
- The full Job Description.
- A Posting History timeline showing when this company has posted the same or similar roles before.
The Company tab
Company gives you context on the employer so you can decide if it's a fit: a short description, company size, headquarters, founding year, a link to their Website, recent stock movement for public companies, and Recent News.
π‘ Tip If the Company tab says no information is available yet, click Try fetching company data to pull it on demand.
What "Confirmed live in the last 24 hours" means
Aplyr continuously re-checks postings against the source job board and applicant tracking system (ATS). When a job is still open, the Overview tab shows a green dot next to Confirmed live in the last 24 hours.
That line is your signal the posting was verified as open very recently β so you're not wasting an application on a role that's already been filled or pulled down. Active jobs show full apply options: a Quick Apply button and an external Apply button, plus resume and cover-letter tools.
How to tell a job is no longer accepting applications
When Aplyr can no longer confirm a posting is open, it marks the job inactive. You'll see clear signals in the panel:
- A red banner reading This job may no longer be available.
- An Inactive badge next to the job type and salary chips.
- The title appears dimmed, and the green "confirmed live" line is gone.
- The apply button is replaced with a disabled Unavailable button β you can't submit to it.
π Note Inactive jobs stay visible so you can still read the description and research the company β but applying is disabled because the posting has closed.
β οΈ Warning A job can go inactive between the time you save it and the time you come back. If a saved job shows Unavailable, the role has closed since you saved it β check the Posting History to see if the company tends to re-post similar roles.
Why don't I see Quick Apply on an active job?
Quick Apply only appears on jobs Aplyr can submit automatically. On other active jobs you'll still see the external Apply button, which opens the employer's application page in a new tab. For the full breakdown, see How Quick Apply works.
