- The Aplyr Inbox is your own dedicated @inbox.aplyr.co email address you can use when applying to jobs.
- Aplyr watches it for you to auto-track applications from confirmation emails and to read ATS verification codes for Quick Apply and Autopilot.
- It keeps all that application email out of your personal inbox, and it's available on the Pro and Ultra plans.
Think of the Aplyr Inbox as a clean, application-only mailbox. When you apply with your @inbox.aplyr.co address, every confirmation, status update, and verification code lands in one place that Aplyr can read and act on automatically.
How to create your Aplyr Inbox
You set up your inbox from your integration settings. It only takes a moment.
- Go to Integrations in your settings.
- Find the Aplyr Inbox card, below your Gmail connection.
- Click Create. Aplyr generates a unique @inbox.aplyr.co address that's yours alone.
- To have Aplyr pull codes from it, make sure your verification source points at the Aplyr Inbox (you can pick either your Gmail or your Aplyr Inbox as the preferred source).

Once it's created, you'll see your new address and a Connected status. You can read everything that arrives at your Inbox.
What your Aplyr Inbox does for you
The Aplyr Inbox is built to make applying hands-off:
- Auto-tracks your applications. When a company sends a confirmation or status email to your @inbox.aplyr.co address, Aplyr reads it and threads it onto the matching application in your Tracker automatically.
- Reads verification codes. Many job portals (ATS) email a one-time code before they let an application through. Aplyr reads that code straight from your Aplyr Inbox so Quick Apply and Autopilot can keep going without you copy-pasting anything.
- Keeps your personal inbox clean. Because applications go to a separate address, your personal email never fills up with confirmations and recruiter automation.
π Note Aplyr only reads verification codes from the email source you choose β your connected Gmail or your Aplyr Inbox. It never uses your account sign-up email for codes.
Gmail or Aplyr Inbox β which should you use?
You don't have to choose just one. Many people connect Gmail so Aplyr can track applications they've already sent, and create an Aplyr Inbox to use as the email on new applications. The key is your verification source: whichever one you set as preferred is where Aplyr looks for codes during Quick Apply and Autopilot.
π‘ Tip If you want a clean separation between your real email and your job search, use your @inbox.aplyr.co address as the application email and set it as your verification source.
The Pro/Ultra plan gate
The Aplyr Inbox is included on the Pro and Ultra plans. If you're on Free or Lite, you can still connect Gmail for tracking and verification β and you can unlock the Aplyr Inbox any time by upgrading from your Billing page.
Disabling your Aplyr Inbox
The Aplyr Inbox is optional. If you no longer want it, open the Aplyr Inbox card in Integrations and click Disable.
β οΈ Warning Disabling permanently deletes your @inbox.aplyr.co address and every email it holds. This can't be undone, and any application that used that address for verification will need a different email source going forward.
